In my research of leading a healthier lifestyle, I came across a very simple and inexpensive way to alkalize my body. I have read from various health websites that sicknesses and diseases cannot live in a body that is more alkaline than acidic. If your body is alkaline then that means that your pH level within your body is 8-14. Zero to 6 is acidic, and 7 is basic. Most of the foods that we tend to eat are acidic such as sweets, breads, and processed foods. Here is a quick way that I usually jump start my morning and my body on the alkaline trail. I drink a 12 oz glass of water with lemon juice, and it is refreshing and delicious! I prefer it over sweetened lemonade now because of the health benefits and taste.
